FAQ


Installing Driver Software for a Vibra (Version 2.52 or Older)

*Ensure that you have a copy of the vibra software that is version 2.62 or newer, if not contact ARL and we can provide a copy of such software

  • Go to Device Manager

  • You will see "Other Devices" with "Vibra" displayed

  • Right Click, Update Driver Software

  • Left Click, Browse My Computer

  • Left Click and Browse to locate Driver Software (version 2.62 or newer)

  • Locate USB stick (All ARL hire units will have a copy of the required software(s))

    • Select the Vibra folder "VIB**** software and License", this will need software drivers version 2.62 or newer folder

    • Left Click, OK

    • Left Click, Next

  • Driver Software should be installing

  • Once Driver Software has been installed, reboot the PC

  • After the PC has been rebooted. driver signature is re-enabled but the installed USB Drivers are still installed for communication with the Vibra


Issue Installing USB drivers windows 10(x86/X64)

Must have USB Drivers from Software Version 2.62 or Newer

  • Turn on PC as per usual

  • Hold "Shift Key" then click "Start" then "Restart" (Click the windows icon in the bottom left hand corner of the screen, click on the power icon and hold the shift key whilst clicking restart)

  • Select the "Troubleshoot" tile on the Choose an option screen that appears.

  • Select "Advance options"

  • Click the "Startup Settings"

  • Click the "Restart" button to restart your PC into the Startup Settings screen.

  • Type "7" or "F7" at the Startup Settings screen to activate the "Disable driver signature enforcement" options.

  • Your PC will boot into the desktop with driver signature enforcement disabled
