NL Series -RT Option


Use any NL Series Meter as a Real Time Octave Analyser

The -RT option for the NL series logger allows your NL-42/52/62 sound level meter to function as a Real Time 1/1 and 1/3 Octave Band Analyser. (Once the software has been installed to a meter the NX-42/62RT SD card can be used as 512MB data and measurement storage card)

All versions of the NL series -RT option allow the user to log 1/1 and 1/3 octave data over any user defined interval with a wide range of parameters including the following:

  • Instantaneous SPL: Lp
  • Equivalent continuous SPL: Leq
  • Sound Exposure Level: Le
  • Maximum SPL: Lmax
  • Minimum SPL: Lmin
  • Percentile sound levels: Ln

All octave band measurements can be stored and the -RT option can be used in conjunction the Auto-Store function of the -EX option to allow an NL series sound level meter to become a long-term octave band logger.

NX-42RT

The NX-42RT option is compatible with the NL-42 and NL-52 sound level meters and provides 1/1 and 1/3 Octave Band Analysis with a bandwidth of 12.5Hz to 20kHz.

NX-62RT

The NX-62RT option is only compatible with the NL-62 sound level meters and provides 1/1 and 1/3 Octave Band Analysis with a bandwidth of 1Hz to 20kHz. The NX-62RT extends the low-frequency sound level measurement capabilities of the NL-62 sound level meter to include a low frequency spectrum analyser.

The -EX option is required to be installed before the NX-42RT and the NX-62RT
